One of the biggest trends to mark this year is… you got it- neon! We are literally swarmed with neon colors everywhere we look- from clothes, to accessories, decor and even hair! As we both love fashion and bold, colorful looks we were super happy to jump onto the neon train and experiment with our style.
Incorporating neon into everyday outfits is a bit tricky, since these colors are very edgy and might send the wrong message if you don’t pay attention to details. However, it is definitely possible to pull off a decent look wearing neon clothes.
We are going to show you some of our favorite ways to style your everyday outfits using neon colors. We have partnered up with @femmeluxefinery, which is an amazing UK based online brand selling affordable and super trendy pieces.
Lately, we have been really into coordinating our outfits with each other (or better known as “twinning”) so we decided to pick 2 different outfit combinations in neon green and neon pink colors.
Neon green
Now, we have to admit that when the neon trend took off, we weren’t really that into neon green (or lime) color. It just seemed too bold and hard to style for some reason. However, we decided to go outside of our comfort zone when we partnered up with @femmeluxefinery and picked a neon green outfit combo. It was actually the best decision we ever made. We were really surprised to find out how good this color looks on EVERYONE. It just instantly makes you look younger, more refreshed, glowing, happier etc. Neon green actually has the characteristics of the yellow color spectrum meaning that it brightens up your mood and makes you happier when you wear it!
If you are afraid to try neon green, don’t be! Just go for it!
We can honestly say that neon green is now one of our favorite colors of the year and we are totally obsessed with everything in this color. We love how refreshing and eye-catching it is.
For this twinning combination we wanted to show off a more casual outfit that could be worn on an everyday basis. We combined our neon green tops with jeans to tone the bold color down a bit and make it more casual. This is a great trick for making neon more wearable in any occasion and we absolutely love how this combination turned out. What do you think?

Neon pink
Neon pink is such a sexy, feminine color of the year. We believe that it is a slightly more easy color to wear and style on an everyday basis. Plus, this color looks absolutely amazing on sun-kissed skin! 😉
Unlike neon green, with neon pink we felt a little more free to go wild with our outfit combination. We loved the casual neon green outfit combo so much that we wanted to create something similar with neon pink as well. Since this color inevitably makes every outfit look more feminine, we paired our neon pink pieces with the denim dress and the bow tie waist jeans to complete our girly look. 🙂

In conclusion, neon is definitely our favorite trend this year and it should be yours, too. These colors are very bold and sexy. They look absolutely amazing on sun-kissed skin and just call for attention. We just LOVE how these colors have such a strong impact on making us feel more happy and refreshed… and making us look amazing as well!
