Twin sisters originating from Serbia and currently based in California, US.
Life while growing up hasn’t been easy as we went through war at 7 years of age and watched our family struggle financially throughout childhood and our teenage years. Poverty really makes you engage your creative mind since you don’t have everything you can imagine. This is why we have been creating in every way possible since our early beginnings. We basically learned to draw before learning to walk as our father was a studio artist and loved drawing with us. Our grandma was a seamstress and we would watch her create clothing pieces every day and when she would finish we would take the left over fabrics and create clothes for our dolls.
Another great passion of ours was photography. Our father got us our first digital camera when we were in school and we used to carry it around everywhere and capture every little moment.
We moved to US for college in 2012. Jelena has a BA in Sports and Physical Education and Milena is a Med-School student.
We started pursuing the yoga lifestyle since 2013 and capturing beautiful moments along the journey to share with the world.
We became founders of Arthletic Wear in 2014 at just 20 years of age.
Milena became a mom in December 2017 to a beautiful little girl Selena.
Jelena is a certified acrovinyasa yoga teacher since April 2018.
